SinusScore

The maxillary sinus cavities are located beneath the cheek bones. When they become infected, their lining, called the mucosa, thickens. In addition, the sinus may fill with fluid. Frequently, sinus infections may linger and become chronic if not properly treated. SinusScore is a scan of the maxillary sinuses looking for fluid or mucosal thickening.

Ask about SinusScore if you suffer from allergies, or have a history of upper respiratory congestion that persists. Once the problem is identified, may options are available for treating it.
