Being a software engineer with several years of image processing work, I'm impressed with your EBT technology. On top of that, I recently had an UltraScore done by your clinic and the results, especially about my Thyroid and Bone density screening, were very revealing. My physcian Dr. Lawrence Schlitt was able to read and interpret your results very quickly and made additional ultra sound and biopsy recommendations. I am convinced that if it wasn't for your technology, these conditions may not have been discovered until sometime later which I'm sure would have been more dangerous.

Dear Dr. Wright;

As a result of our recent visit to your clinic we wanted you to know that Herb had 3 stints placed in his Right Coronary Artery and the Circumflex artery on May 4th.

We have seen a thoracic surgeon in regard to the plaque formation on his left artery and an arteriogram has been performed.

Thanks to you and LifeScore we have warded off a potentially deadly heart attack. With future life changes ahead we are hopeful that he will live a much longer and productive life.

Dear Dr Wright

I have recently received both a telephone call and a mailing alerting me to the fact that it has been three years since I had my scan at your facility. At the time I was only to have a Heart Scan but you picked up something on my lung and so a Lung Scan was also done. You told me I had a wonderful heart but were concerned that the spot on my lung might be cancer.

Your suspicions were verified by biopsy at UCSD and in March I had a upper lobectomy on my left side (same side as my breast cancer in 1995), followed by a chemotherapy protocol of three different drugs. I am very carefully watched now by both my Primary Care Physician and my Oncologist, with blood work, scans of all kinds, x-rays, colonoscopy, etc. and all indications are that I am cancer free at this time. I just had a full body bone scan and will be having other scans x-rays and blood work in June. I can assure you that if UCSD suddenly decides I don't need these scans in the future, you will be the first person I contact.

I can certainly attest to the importance of your work because we all know I wouldn't be here writing this letter if I had not come to you for a Heart Scan. I am sure you have many such success stories. Thank you for my life.

Dear Dr. Wright,
I saw you about a month ago for a heart and lung scan to determine if a mass seen earlier in the week near my heart was in fact pneumonia or if it was a reoccurrence of the breast cancer I have been in remission with. You may recall that my husband was with me at the time we spoke.

I wanted to thank you, first of all, for setting our minds at rest about the problem in my lung, but more for the effect you had on my husband. After years of telling him about a healthier style of eating, your words took hold. He is now reading labels, moderating his calories and has lost more than 20 pounds! He is cutting back on the fattier foods, sugars and making better choices in what he eats. He has had borderline high cholesterol and is monitored semi-annually; his last check came back (and I don't remember the exact numbers) within 1 point of the acceptable range.

I, too, am gradually dropping weight, probably four to five pounds since we talked. So, along with my wishes for a wonderful holiday season, I wanted to thank you for the benefits you have brought to our lives.

I wanted to thank you, all of the people at LifeScore® and your machinery for saving my life.  There is no simpler way to put it.  Without the scan I would be dead now or on my way to it soon.Your machine showed a substantial build up of plaque in my heart and you recommended I see a cardiologist right away.
The cardiologist put me on a treadmill and immediately had an angiogram performed.   The found two major arteries to the heart nearly blocked with cholesterol.   Three stents were installed to correct the situation.  After some recovery I feel fine.
Before LifeScore® came along I was a 'heart attack waiting to happen'.  Next November I will repeat the LifeScore® scan to see if there is any improvement....Cathy, Tammy, Mandy, Steve and Dr. Yeager were efficient and competent- a great staff!  This was my best investment in years.
